Demonstration Overview

We will be provide information on chemical oxidation and reduction technologies, soil washing processes and enhanced bioremediation techniques. We will exhibit samples of products specifically engineered for in situ chemical reduction processes (ISCR). These ISCR processes are a viable option for low level contaminant mass treatment. ISCR processes involve direct chemical reduction, indirect chemical reduction, and biodegradation. The subsurface environment is enhanced to further promote naturally occurring processes. As such, although direct contact with injected solutions is still important, it is not the only mechanism at work. Through synergistic reactions, contaminants are degraded upon direct contact, but also through diffusion, biological activity, and the inherent thermodynamic instability of contaminants created by generating very low oxido-reduction levels.
